Terms of Use

Orisun provides cooperative tools including Àjọ (daily thrift), Owó ọ̀sẹ̀ (Friday membership contribution), Owó inú (member balance), Àtìlẹ́yìn (community support), empowerment requests, and meeting attendance. Orisun is not a bank and does not offer interest-bearing loans as a bank product.

You must be legally able to join a cooperative savings scheme in your jurisdiction, provide accurate registration information, and keep your phone number and password secure.

• Owó ọ̀sẹ̀ is due for active members on Fridays as set by the cooperative.
• Àjọ charges run according to the daily amount you enable and your linked card.
• You authorize Orisun to instruct Paystack to charge your saved card for enabled automatic contributions and disclosed fees (such as identity verification).
• Cash collection at meetings remains available for members who do not use the app.

Card and other electronic payments are processed by Paystack. Top-ups paid successfully via Paystack credit Owó inú after verification. Bank-transfer top-ups may require admin confirmation. Chargebacks or failed payments may affect your standing.

Support and empowerment requests are reviewed by cooperative administrators. Approval is not guaranteed. Eligibility rules (such as membership duration, thrift standing, card on file, and identity verification) may apply.

Do not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorized access, submit false identity or payment information, or harass other members or staff. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or cooperative rules.

You may delete your account as described on our Data Deletion page. Outstanding obligations to the cooperative may need to be resolved before or after deletion according to cooperative policy.

Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orisun is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, payment networks, or third-party outages.
